We suggest you an extraordinary historical-cultural itinerary, among the suggestive Ercolano and Oplonti’ s ruins with a standstill to the Mav Museum, an other place of delight.
Pompeii Service offers you the entry to the Ercolano ’s archaeological site where you can walk among the ancient ruins of Roman age, the best preserved in the world. From here we will continue for a standstill to the virtual Museum "MAV" dedicated to the archaeological site of Ercolano.
After, we will go to Oplonti ‘s ruins, other archaeological site of great importance for his fantastic frescos. In these ruins we can see the famous Poppea’ s villa. It's one of the more suggestive archaeological testimonies of the vesuvian area. This place, as Pompeii and Ercolano, has been buried from the eruption of the Vesuvius in the 79 a.c too.
This villa shows some decorations and some frescos in a good state of preservation that represents some animals (the magnificent peacocks), some theatrical masks and dead nature.
